O'FALLON, IL – It is with great pleasure that we announce the grand opening of August The Mansion for Wednesday-Saturday dinner service starting Thursday, March 28, 2024. Following a change in ownership in 2020, we have collaborated with local artisans to breathe new life into the iconic building for the first time in more than 15 years. The name of our new restaurant pays homage to August Wastfield, the visionary behind the property's construction in 1857, and the cherished O'Fallon community, who has affectionately referred to it as The Mansion for decades.

Excitement resonates not only from the restoration of the property but also from the exceptional team that has joined us to bring our upscale-casual, New American dining experience to life. Executive Chef Jessica Hickman and General Manager Alejandro Molina, both seasoned veterans of the St. Louis dining scene, including the esteemed Niche Food Group, bring a wealth of experience both near to home and beyond. Their passion for detail in flavor, quality, presentation, service, and overall experience promises to deliver all the elements guests love about city dining, right in the heart of O'Fallon.

Complementing our leadership team, Daniela Pedraza leads our bar program to craft indulgent cocktails, while Sous Chef Brett Carson, with years of experience serving high-end clientele, introduces exciting flavors to our menu. Our dedicated local team, both in the front and back of the house, complete the ensemble.

Our initial opening will feature dining on the main floor of the original home and drink service in the bar, offering signature and classic cocktails, wine, and beer. This allows guests to experience the elegance of our formal dining areas and get a preview of our forthcoming casual bar dining experience. Over the next few months, we look forward to introducing additional offerings, including bar dining, exclusive reservation-only experiences, private parties, special events, access to service upstairs and in our tasting room, outdoor patio dining, and an outdoor lounge with firepit service.
